That Double Bookin' Mama-san!
TuiNa Massage is run by a Chinese lady named Michelle (aka Mama-san). I enjoy seeing Joy, the 27 year old Thai masseuse who works there. But it is super annoying to have an hour cut in half. I think they get busy and just don't take the time to sort the schedule during the day.
Around 10 am on Friday, I book an hour for 5:30 pm. About an hour later, I call back to reschedule to 3 pm as one of my meetings had rescheduled to next week. When I called Michelle back, she sounded a little rushed / distracted and that should have been a red flag. Sure enough, at 3:30 pm a guy walks in and says, "I'm * here for my 3:30 appt". At least Joy had started with the happy ending at the beginning, or I would have told her to let the dude know it's going to be a while. So, after all the awkwardness and apologies and a partial refund, I get dressed and leave.
Sharing this just as a cautionary tale: if you gents are booking there, just be sure to remind Michelle NOT to double book. I did call her later to let her know what happened and that I'd like a discounted door fee next time. We'll see what happens.
