As AI improves it's becoming almost impossible to stay truly anonymous online if you are up against a dedicated hacker. That's just reality I'm afraid.

And in real life too, because someone can just surreptitiously take a photo of you, with their phone, and then use this facial recognition tech to get your name, address, etc, etc.

So, about that giving you a few freebies. Most sites for search of identifying information do this. However, they either set cookies to count off the number, or require an email address. You can get around this by providing yet another email address or deleting cookies.

My huge concern is even on the initial search, they show the URL on which the photo is found. Well, at least much of it. But often enough of it that someone smart could figure out the real URL, and go to it and look for you. Especially when it is from a prominent organization.

And, like others, I found some websites that have my photo up that should not. An advocacy organization that I used to be a member of evidently still has a profile for me, with picture. I have had to contact them to get them to take it down.

One thing we definitely must be sure not to do is ever ever ever mention to a SB or on a website other than this one that this power exists. The fewer girls who know about this the better.

One of the things about SA that has been a plus in the past is that they block google from scanning its profile pages, so you can't automatically show up in a google search. YK, it used to be that they had a mandatory captcha just to log into the site each and every time. Those days, that seemed safer to me. It probably is sorta safer than just being out on CL or some such.

I think it's by IP address on the freebies, and without paying it requires some technical prowess that basically no SB will have to track you down.

There is a link where you can upload a pic as well as an anonymized version of your I'd and they will supposedly stop showing any results for your face. I gave it a shot and removed all info from my DL other than my name and photo. Hoping I'm not making it worse.

Super interesting! Let us know how this works out. If it is a way to go, we'll all be grateful. I am going to start taking some other photos of mine and testing how easily the site matches up to the real me.

Like others, I tested with a photo I normally share and it found some matches. It won't let me see where they are from without paying though. I did click on the link to have my pics removed, but you have to do that for each individual result and I have no idea if they will really honor that request. I used to only share fake photos and then I lost 2 SB's I really wanted to see because they were upset that I used a fake pic. Not sure what I'll do going forward.

A comment made in another sugar thread concerned me so I personally investigated. If you have a SO, you really really need to be careful about this.

The website that you need to worry about is pimeyes.com. It is a free facial recognition site. I have been very circumspect about putting my real photos on the seeking site, the only ones I provide are actually of someone not me (but similar to me) and have half the face cut off. However, in private texting, after I have spoken w / someone and am pretty sure I want to meet them, I saw no recourse but to provide a real pic. This is one that has all metadata stripped and has never appeared anywhere on the internet, on social media or anywhere else.

I just ran pimeyes on my one real photo I use for sugari. I have a relatively prominent internet presence because of my profession. That website found 7 instances of my real photos online. One of the finds was of someone else. However, if a girl wanted to search my one provided pic, she would get my *real* name and lots more information about me. This would make me extremely vulnerable to extortion, as I clearly mark on my seeking profile that I am married.

The only mitigating feature of pimeyes is that we can use it against girls.

Using a picture of me in sunglasses (which I have shared with potential SBs), the site pulled up a professional website picture of me as the very first of 30 potential matches. So in a matter of seconds, a woman with bad intentions would have my name and workplace. This is disturbing. I wont be sharing pictures any longer.

I just tried it with one of the photos that I usually send out to sb prospects, and it pulled up another pic of me from a few years ago, among four potential matches. I paid the $14.99 to see what site it linked to, but that site was "mavink.com" and the link said "under maintenance" so not sure what that is about. But yes, this is troubling, and I won't be posting any more photos of me on social media (although it's clearly already too late).

True nothing lasts forever, so I'm going to keep enjoying this while I can LOL. I'm 28, fairly fit. I just started sugaring last year and am loving it, was doing call girls before but no where near as fun. I'm a bit upset I missed SA during it's prime as I keep reading about it.
