I'll give my two cents not that it matters too much. This will highly dependent on where you're coming from in terms of price and attractiveness. Let's say for the sake of argument, we're comparing independents vs K-girls as of 2023. Value wise, it wasn't good as it used to be as prices jumped up quite in the the past 2-3 years. What used to be an unbelievable bargain at $250, now has jumped to $320-400+. Overall, if you're in a dry spot who can't get these services at a decent price where you live, it's still pretty good IMO. I've seen some of these indies want significantly more and the service they provide is up in the air. At least this is what I've seen on TER when I had VIP. They aren't bargin basement either, the trade off you get is a clean and safe apartment, an incall provided by them, the girl is pretty decent all things considered. Some will be hot, some okay, some probably shouldn't be in the business.

The biggest catch I've seen some people who have no Korean agency references and / or from out of town tend to have issue with screening. They usually require 2 references from other Korean agencies (preferably local) or another Korean agency in another city. It's like that chicken and the egg thing with them, so your alternative is the I'd + paystub / work reference they require to get in. Most reports recently have done the latter and it's up to you if you're down to provide this to them.

As for race, I don't think they really discriminate other than some reports of some "brothers" who can't get in but I don't hear it that often. I think they care more about is are you a person of good character (can pay, not get violent) and basically be a good customer. Also not be LE to bust them.

If you spend time reading the posts, you'd understand that most of the posts are from shills. The laws of supply and demand are alive and well in Los Angeles. Something better and cheaper does not exist. You have a much better chance of getting something better and cheaper in whatever city / state you live in given that LA is the 2nd most expensive place in the US. Guys in LA make more money just because of the cost of living. Flying in to sample K girls in LA is a great way of losing your shirt.
