I'm not broke just not rich either to be putting 250-500 per visit depending on provider. Her approach to 250 firm isn't the right method either. Different ways we all could handle ourselves rather then jump down someone's throat for wanting a deal for potentially being a new client. I'd rather get a deal the first time learning she is worth it then get charged more for future visits. I think some of these women scare allot of clients off with such high prices to start. Not to say their not worth it but prove me wrong, then charge me your high price. Vs paying a high price and getting mediocre service which is sadly common with a handful around here.

I've never met her but in her defense. I'd refuse a client trying to negotiate price before ever even meeting me for sure. If you start out bargaining it's not a great look, especially when there are others that are so generous and gentlemanly. Believe it or not, we aren't all hard up for our next meal ticket or fix, LOL. Just a little suggestion, keep negotiating off the table till after first date. She will be much more receptive and if you treat her right she might be willing to work with you in the future.

My take on this is that as a rule, I never tell a provider what she is worth. That is not my place. Especially if I have never had an encounter with them before.

They will give me a rate and if I can't afford it, I will say thank you, it is beyond what I am able to pay right now and that I will get back with them once I have more discretionary funds. Often, they will counter and sometimes it ends up in my range. Other times, if I REALLY want to see a particular provider and I am close on the funds, I will just outright tell them "I really want to see you, but I only have $XXX available (it's got to be reasonable close fellas! Would you be willing to accept that?" It has worked in my favor often. I will also put them at the head of the line for a repeat at their regular rate unless they offer to continue with what they accepted from me before.

Just my rants.

Fair enough. Your casual approach will get you much further. Politely let us know your available budget and if it's not insulting and we aren't booked we might consider it if you are a gentleman. I agree with CJ on this. When I first started I tried to negotiate right off the start and got turned down hard. Now I will do a first date and go from there. I had a couple of providers ask me to see them and when I told them I could not because I could not pay their prices again they let me negotiate what I could pay. On top of that I have a couple of providers who let me use their whole menu for the price of a ss because I have seen them long enough that they know I will not screw them over. Go on a first date with on and see what comes from it.
