You hit the nail on the proverbial head. I run a company, and if my suppliers raise wholesale prices, I adjust accordingly. My neighbor is an economics guy, and we regularly engage in supply / demand banter. He's not a fellow monger, to my knowledge, but when we talk about pricing, compared to 10+ years ago, he notes the big differences, and especially the higher pricing on most goods and services post-, or almost post-Covid.

But we're all experiencing that, so I don't have an issue paying $140 for a BBBJ / CFS combo, when I paid just a C-note for it 10 years ago. Sure, we all love a bargain, but we can find that in other ways as needed.

My three cents (adjusted for inflation).

Up until the pandemic, it was 40 (tip) + 30 (house) = 70. Now its 40 + 60 = 100 or more. Roughtly about 50% inflation. That's wildly larger than the actual inflation increase in society. And these girls largely live outside of society in a closed world. None of them pay taxes, and many are not even here legally. So this is a flat out money grab.

I think it started because they were out of work for 6 months, and business was drastically down for another 6-12 months, so they were hurting (only making 30 k tax free rather than $120 k tax free). I felt bad for them, and also wanted to make sure they did not close their doors, so I did not mind bumping up the tip to 50. But somehow all of them simultaneously realized they could get more money. And suddenly girls who were happy with 40 now were insulted by 50.

The truth is that we are kinda powerless to do much. If a shop is seeing 50 guys a day, maybe one of those guys will be one of us that day. So if we take our marbles and go home, they don't give a flying f*ck. But if we chime in to PPS / MMS and to the girls. That we are not coming back or not coming back as often, or we found another shop that charges less. Then we might hammer home the message.

Maybe. I guess there area more and more guys who need a release. I would hate to be a young guy dating a youngish woman now. These guys have to kowtow to get any pussy at all, so a visit to the AMP for a lube and tune might be the only treat they are getting.

How do we combat that? We don't really. We can talk about not giving in to demands of higher tips, but the reality is we on this board represent a small slice of their customer base. Whatever we do here will have fairly minimal effect. It might delay the inevitable just a bit though.

Totally agree! I hardly go to MPs anymore as I always feel ripped off! $40-$50 door fee and everyone wants $60+ for a quick tug. The massage is non-existent. For $120-$150 you can get full service from a better looking (and younger) chick at motels across OC. For 200, you can get BBBJ and FS from a K-girl agency. The only massage I still get once in a while is Amy at Sakura. She's an Auntie, but at least she gives a great massage!

Where do you get $200 prices for a K-girl nowadays? Everywhere I look, K-girl agencies charge upwards of $320-$400 per hour for FS session.

I think the thing is that we have a classic supply-and-demand situation. We are the demanders and the local girls are the suppliers. Some shops realize they make more money by keeping their prices low ($40) but make it up in volume, whereas other shops charge $50-60, but they sit around checking their social media many more hours per day.

In the same way with the services provided by the girls, they have upped their prices. By themselves for no other reason than they wanted more money. They talk about inflation and other bullshit, but they don't experience inflation. They are working 6 days a week and sending their money to China. They are not paying rent, buying cars, going on vacations, etc.

So (as has been discussed here several previous times), we need to do the same thing, and work collectively to lower prices. I do it all the time. When they tell me high prices, I get "sticker shock" and turn things down. I am willing to not book in a shop charging too much. I tell girls and PPS's I would be here every week but since your prices went up, now I come once a month. This is an effort to provide a feedback loop to let them know they need to do a course correction, otherwise they can sit around with no customers more often, and their bottom line will suffer.

Pricing theory is a subject by itself. People have masters degrees in that stuff. One basic principle applies to everything though, and that is "pricing is whatever the market will bear. " As a small business owner, I can tell you that I'm going to charge as much as I can before it starts causing customers to stop coming. If I raise prices and don't lose any business, I'm going to raise prices again. For that matter, I can raise my prices and lose 10-15% of my business, but still make more money by serving less customers because the price increase more than offsets the lost customers. And most of the lost customers will come back eventually because the prices of everything else went up too. I'm sure mongering places are the same. If the girls can make just as much money or more by seeing only 9 customers a day instead of 11 or 12, they'd be all over it.

I don't think it's a good deal when you paid $40 for house fee and then $60 for HJ, which lasted about 20 minutes maybe. Not sure about you but I don't make $100 in 20 minutes. So why should or would I pay $100 for a HJ. There is plenty of places that you can pay $80 for FS in OC.

I know everybody has different taste and what they like and don't like. Of course you can do whatever you want with your only, but I just don't think it's worth $100 for a HJ.

I have walked out myself once or twice. But in this case, she is not too unreasonable. 60 is the new 40, even with less attractive women. So she was not all that unreasonable. Except the bit about not doing much massage at all. Even the worst ones go through some motions. But if the girl is nice and hot, then I could give up the massage in exchange for the beauty factor. Your description is almost exactly Tiffany at TT. Its a fact of reality that a young pretty girl is simply more valuable than an older "5 out of 10" girl. Many of the hotter ones want more like 80 even. I am really surprised they gave you your money back.

Well, first of all they don't have same insurance system there. In my opinion (I am not a democrat) healthcare should be free. My sibling and parents are healthcare workers, otherwise insurance companies charge x10 of what real cost is. This is just a scam, since they are party donors no one addresses this. I am in construction and can tell you real estate costs more because of minimum pay plus dumb regulations. Has nothing to do with geography.

I went there maybe five or six times, five six seven maybe eight years ago. It was. 5 hh even then, but the service nearly always was outstanding. CFS for $. Then it happened.
