Posts: 1185Me, too. I've come close a couple of times, but have never taken the plunge. Did anyone else notice that this story broke the day after election day? This whole thing was done by the DHS feds, taking full advantage of human trafficking laws enacted after 9-11. Either the cop who wrote the affidavit did PhD-level research or perhaps had a lot of experience himself in the hobby. One other observation: It appears as if this investigation started in Boston and spread to NOVA when the "PhD" started connecting the dots.

The reference to "eastern Virginia" comes from the federal court district where the charges were filed. Check out the indictment which details the verification process and how the business was set up.

Posts: 1274Never give out your info
This is why I keep telling my fellow mongers never to give out real names, photos, identification, employment info, etc. Nor should mongers pay with a credit card or any form of electronic payment, only cash at the time of service. You see what happens when our least favorite uncle busts an agency or individual provider? A lot of mongers are now at risk of being exposed and being embarrassed at the very least. Some might even lose their jobs, careers, and marriages as a result, even if they don't face criminal charges.

Edited to add: the article's author needs a geography lesson. Fairfax and Tysons Corner are located in Northern Virginia, not eastern Virginia.

There's a reason I was never a fan of being verified.

Posts: 560While I'm glad they caught & charged her, the victim's also a moron for 1) Trusting her with his safe code, and 2) Paying thousands for her company and nothing else. And going off her mugshot, I daresay he could have found other SBs that were so much hotter and with a more open menu. Being in his 50's is not old enough for him to claim senility.

I mean why would some put in the effort & spread their legs when they can sucker dumb shits like the aforementioned guy or offer simple platonic company for 500,800, 1 K, etc? Easy money by taking the path of least resistance, and I don't blame them.

Posts: 81Good rule of thumb: don't give her the hotel safe code!
You would hope it wouldn't need to be said, but perhaps it does LOL. Along with never sending money in advance, a good policy is never give your SB the code to your hotel safe. Looks like someone in Vegas just got bitten bad by doing so.
Las Vegas woman left U2 concert to take $50 K from 'sugar daddy's' hotel safe.

Not always the case for the older woman. Why I prefer independents that work out their home! More than likely are doing this under their own moral choice! Not all of them have limited skills! Ms Virginia is a college graduate and fluent in English grammar better than most Americans! It's just about money and morally except it! Your right about tne fun in and out of the shop and not lasting- ALL to WELL.

Been doing this for years, Many of these women who do massage, especially the older women work voluntarily for the money because with their limited skills, to make this much money in China is impossible. I do not rule out that China is the biggest franchise corporation in America, but I don't know for sure. Many women in the business come and go from place to place, knowing they will be underground except when they go to Flushing. Remember, the Chinese do not think like we do,these women are singularly focused and actually do not like Americans, with exceptions of course. So, new parlors keep opening and people are making money. If you find a good girl, get her number, you may have some fun in and out of the shop but rarely does it last for long. Everybody uses everybody, go have fun.

The victim is so well off they don't think they're a victim? Why are you here if you even think that, every sex worker is a victim then.

You're over generalizing here, and I think a lot of people need to educate themselves on this topic. The power a trafficker may hold over a victim may never be violent or physical. Its often financial or psychological (ex. A promise of higher paying jobs). The trauma can be so great that the victim may not even think they're a victim, or be to scared to report their trafficker. Even forced labor in a completely legit massage parlor is considered human trafficking.

Posts: 110What's the point of that other than to ignore and minimize actual sex trafficking? No, I don't frequent ACS / LCS and not because every place is some sort of slavery den but because I want to be safe and avoid the chance of engaging in a trafficking. If you've found an ACS or LCS that you trust, then that's great. Everybody should do that.

Or maybe this is how you justify your own behavior by saying that "everyone does it" and taking advantage of women so you can save a couple of bucks? I'd rather pay a premium at a place I trust to do things ethically. But hey, who knows. Maybe next, you'll tell me that it's "cute" to tell guys not to roofie girls.

Dallas used to have an AMP scene that makes NOVA look like 3rd grade. Then the state legislature made solicitation a felony offense and the whole thing shut down. If Va does that then it's all over.
