I never said you won't get laid if you weed all the scammers out. The talent pool is not very exciting to me unless you're into fattys, pros and overpriced girls.

I'm not a pro at spotting scammers but I decided to try and weed out the trash with my profile write up. Basically, I said I refuse to pay in advance under any circumstance, don't bother asking. I also say that I don't spend on lavish shopping sprees or world travel. I also make it clear that if they have no intention of meeting person, don't bother. No plutonic or virtual arrangements either. I have not found that this has affected the response rate of real girls but I don't get near as many scam attempts or catfishers. As a matter of fact, SA has yielded some pretty good results the past 3 or 4 months (I travel so don't ask about Charlotte girls). I'm sure the language has turned off a few good ones but the reality is, I only have a finite amount of time and money to spend on these garden tools so I needed to maximize that. YMMV but that's my experience.

The rest has already been reported on at nauseum. But pick the profiles that are not 3 weeks old or newer. If they're legit, they'll be there in 3 months. If it seems TGTBT, it probably is. And although they could be real, if they use phrases like "I know my worth" and shit that implies they will be compensated accordingly, just move on. They might be a reasonable deal but the time to find out will cost you something.
