Are usually because the cell phone is connected with 2 towers at once according to Verizon. Years ago I had that problem and it went away with a settings update and a tower search / reset. Since I bought the most recent apple release, I have had zero issues.

Could be a speaker phone. Or could be a bad connection. I've had the same thing happen when talking to someone I know and know they aren't on a speaker phone.

If a droid user, download the F-Droid app store and search for proton VPN. You will need to authorize F-droid to install apps on your phone. Install and set up an account.
