I have been seeing an increase in "confirmation" fees for appointments. I have been trying to see if these are all scams or are too many guys actually bailing out. I have been asked for as low as $10 and as high as $50. I'm not cheap, but I figured I would ask before being the guine pig. I don't mind paying for time, but it just seems like a scam to me.

I've posted about this before as well. Seemed like a sting buy someone responded thought it was some ugly troll postings these. Either way always check the pics using Google Lens, Search Google option, or using a one of those image sites to verify as best as you can.

Most of you know how to weed out scam ads, just want to share the method I use. Typically we search the image in the ad with google lens (if you click and hold on image in chrome you get the option). Most of the time it won't find any matches. But the trick is click on image source button after the search. It will give all the links where the image is used. If the pic was used in multiple cites with different numbers. Its a scam. Attached is screenshots from iphone. Hope it helps.
