One thing I do if it's an email only contact is to include some "outside of CL" contact info in my initial email with them so that if they get actually the first message, they can see a real email address (or burner number) to contact me outside of the platform. It used to work like a charm in the old days and still has worked a few times of late.

If they do actually give a phone number, it's back to you have to be there first.

No I don't remember the name but I'm sure if you post it things will come back. I miss the days of Craigslist and Backpage when they were around and allowed posting of all kinds of stuff. The game is different now and I think I need to retire LOL. Too many flakes, scams, crooks, and junkies mixed in there with the hidden gems. It takes a shit load of time and effort to find them. Sometimes I feel like the chase is the thrill of it all. I'm getting too old for this shit. Sorry for my rant.
