Do whatever you're comfortable with bro, but I literally addressed this exact point in my original post. Sure you can end the call, but if that recording gets out you're still going to have to explain to a significant other, or coworker, or whoever what you were doing on the video call in the first place.

In my opinion, the risk of a video call far outweighs anything good to be gained from a possible recording. I'd much rather potentially waste a few minutes of time meeting in public so you can bounce if things aren't seeming right.

I do video calls all the time. It super easy to avoid anything in criminating. But I never FaceTime well mainly because don't have an iPhone. If she asks to snap I request a Google duo call. If she requests to FaceTime I ask to snap. I also let her know from the beginning this just a call to verify we are both real and who we say we are. I have had several try and get sexual or go into something that could be incriminating I just end the call. Sure they could record the video or take screen shots. To use them against me, they would have to have personel information on me. Just to be able to give to someone to be a risky and generally my opsec is pretty good.

Yeah London is solid. I worked there for a few months back in 2017 and stayed in Earls Court. 5-10 sexy Romanian BBFS options within walking distance easily found on adultwork. It was ridiculous.

Not always scammers, I've found that many girls are just entitled. These are the type that write stuff like needing to get taken care of for their time, expect paid M&G even with no sex, etc. I've had plenty of girls who seem real, but want me to pay for the Uber and stuff because they're spoiled.

From the girls' perspective though, if I was a hot chick, why wouldn't I do that? Why spend my own money when someone can spend it for me, it makes sense.

This pretty much sums up my reasons too. I'm really paranoid about this stuff, having had a bad experience. The really bad ones. And they do exist.
