Look into getting tracfone pre paid but make sure you get it from like Walmart or something and under no circumstances, DO NOT REGISTER YOUR NAME OR ANY INFORMATION ON YOUSELF.

I also use an app called burner on my phone, it's $5/ month. Works well but in the case I do have to put in my "Real" number. I can always change it. It's a tedious hassle which is why I use the burner app to reduce that chance.

These 2 are awful. First one is darker skinned and short, second one is light skinned and fat. I saw the first one in BWI a while ago and when I was there I saw the second one in the next room over. Recently I saw the second one in timonium and saw the first one next door. So they may be friends or something. I use the Cover Me app. It works great. It's as if it were designed for this. It doesn't look like a communication app. Notifications are suppressed (but you hear a notification sound, if you want). It closes every time you switch out of it, so it's not listed in your active apps. Your wife can't scroll through and find it. Every time it opens, you have to put your PIN in (or face recognition).
