I definitely agree with you, I think the issue is that if you are a provider you know that once you put a new post the avalanche of calls or email will follow, prepare yourself for your business, have a business plan or face the critics. don't abuse of your position, have some controls in place, its not about seeing all but to at least service them with a sorry we're busy call. We're not that big here you know, this market is pretty small and a lot of us without knowing each other at any given point in time might be leaving one provider's place while another one of us is coming in. Been there done that right guys? That simply means we talk to each other, we tell our successes as well as our frustrations and we are constantly looking out (at least some of us) for each other and passing valuable information; that can make us stir our ship to where the wind blows best. We can be very good and habitual clients as well as very vocal and vindictive. Perhaps if the providers at least make an effort to return half the calls or perhaps return the email that would at least keep us from suffering the anxiety of loosing the momentum. Bottom line is that the laws of supply and demand will determine who's in 80% and who's on the 20%.

I think the problem with many providers is they feel why bother checking or answering their voice mail or email. Most will not answer while working. As soon as a client leaves, they will start answering the phone and many get continuous calls until the next client is selected and/or arrives. They continue in this manner and if they are good they have enough business from the guys who are lucky enough to catch them live on the phone. Hence why bother going to all the time to return calls in their inbox. I’m not saying this is a good thing, but it just seems to be the norm for many providers. I’ve found if there is a provider you see regularly and she likes you, she will give you a way to contact her that is more reliable. Several providers I know have anther phone number or email address they only give their regulars. Some times I get lucky and get the provider on the phone right away, and sometimes it’s impossible. I always have numerous backups set up to call. I’ve also found that many don’t really want to schedule dates except for that day.

I look at it this way. I'm a consumer. If they want my business, they'll make themselves available. If they can't be bothered to even show up or return communication, why should I expect them to deliver any other form of satisfaction?

Life is too short to dick around with service providers who think the customers should cater to them. If they have all the business they need when I contact them, I understand (providing they simply let me know).

I know there are a variety of reasons for no response. My friend is always trying to weed out the freaks, no-shows etc. In the phone conversation and is successful at it. But it is difficult.

Some days they are not up to more than one, other days more, some days none. I understand this. My friend's frustration is "don't guy's understand that I can't see everyone that writes or calls, I'm only one girl"

I know this is not the easiest job in the world but lucrative if done well and the 80-20 rule prevails, 20% of the girls make 80% of the money, the trick is to run the business to put yourself in the 20%.

My Question to everyone-- hobbyist and provider alike is.

How can the communication be improved so that everyone's needs are being met?

So here's some answers for you. Not all the answers mind you but some. 1st like your friend most girls try to weed out the guys jacking off, possible leo, possible freak, or to be honest someone we don't click with. If you have a solid rep you want to keep that and if I think we are not a good match I generally rather not say that, you never know how someone may react and in this dangerous world it's easier to make myself suddenly unavailable rather take chances with my life or livlihood[bad spelling]2nd you must realize that at a certain point in a girl's career the demand for her time may outweigh what she willing to perform, for example I prefer quality over quantity due to a number of risks and therefore prefer just to see 1 or 2 gents in a day. I assume most girls without "managers" are going to feel the same way. 3rd it's always possible her period came on, she was arrested, family showed up out of no where or she had some like situation.It is not a reflection on you and personally I would either have a back up plan go back to the drawing board[craigslist again or ter or escorts.com] or just call her on another day and try again. I know that if I can't take you on the day you would like I offer a discounted session to make up for it. In the short time I have been taking advantage of this forum, I have discovered a couple of things.

To get things going I have contacted the provider via PM or email with a few general questions, primarily regarding protocol. I have gotten a response or a quick returned call every time.

Then, still via email or PM, I have asked for their preferred method of communication. When I know how the provider wishes to be contacted, that's the method I use.

Then I ask a few more questions: what is the lead time needed prior to my visit? Should I call from a nearby intersection? Etc. Then I follow the instructions.

I will grant you that I haven't been extraordinarily active at this, but I get out every now and then. And the above system has worked flawlessly for me. I have not been stood up. I have not been stalled. I have had only very positive experiences. The providers I have seen have been extremely professional in both their communication and their demeanor. This may have something to do with my choice of providers. But I believe anyone in the business capable of doing things the "right way".

Perhaps if we give positive reviews for the communication category as well as the performances others will get a better picture of what to expect. Reporting our negative experiences regarding the providers who are lax in the communication department might help them see that there is a positive economic benefit to running a business like a business.

Maybe we could get Hanna and Debbie to put on a seminar on "How to Do It Right The First Time - Every Time"

As a follow up to the last post I feel the need to give some credit. I was down in the Orlando area about 3 weeks ago and got the chance to See Debbie (Sexybldbbwfl) this was my second visit to her last year she was having a Message meet and greet special and it was great! I just saw this topic on the massage thread and think it warrants some discussion here.

A few days ago I sent a very nice E-mail to a new independent provider in orlando. I introduced myself, told her about the board, asked her to read my posts as a way of "proving" myself and told her I was interested in a late morning or early afternoon appt. for today. I even told her about a safe outcall place etc.. I told her I would call Monday to set up a time. So I called yesterday, got the voicemail and left a message and asked her to return my call anytime yesterday. Need-less to say I received no return call or e-mail.
This girl say's in her ad's that she is looking for a group of regulars and is not looking for high volume.

I was annoyed even though I know the other side as I state below.

Conversely: I am friends with a provider who was not using her phone in the ad's (she started yesterday) and was inundated with E-mail and was wasting 2 hours a day responding and trying to make appointments. With a fair amount of no-shows.

My experience is to try to make myself as flexible as possible I know that I want to meet someone within this week so I usually leave it up to the provider to give me days and times they are availble. This may sound weak but I guess I am getting older and the got to have it right now phase is not as important as it was years ago. I would rather have a provider give me her undivided attention then for her to think about her next appointment is going to be showing up soon. I have used this with most providers I have met on here and CL. And have not had any problems with it yet. I am good at reading a person and knowing if they are full of crap or if they are real but having a reference or seeing a review of a girl does help.

That has been my experience for that last year or so since I have pretty much given up on SW and resorted to a few regular girls that I see in Chicago and when I am in Orlando.

It's a hard thing to work out, I can sit at work and e-mail but hesitantly use my company cell for appointments. No one actually tracks my calls but there is always the 1st. time. ( I know I should have a pre-paid)

I just mailed Hanna Banna about a meeting on April 2nd. But she has plenty of time to get back to me, and she can post on here if I set something up and fail to show.

However if these girls want to be in that 20% as was stated below some pre-work may be necessary. I have to spend time bidding work to get it, and sometimes I don't get the job but bidding is a necessary evil.
