I'd already initiated contact with "Catherine," and had switched to texting, before reading this post. No requests for money but her text responses were terse and tepid, making me wonder whether I was texting with a bot. As of a day ago, that profile is no longer available on WYP. Fine by me, I'll find somebody else who's interested in getting paid to dress nicely, enjoy a meal and drinks together, and see whether there's a connection.

So how does WYP work? I see the offers you can put out there in a wide range. Do you offer a low amount for a meet & greet or up it to a typical ppm? Just curious about your typical process.

If I see someone I like, I usually do the suggest a price option, so they can determine what they want. If they want $100. I'm pretty much in. Over $100, I'll decide. My cut off is $150. Over $150, then I already know they're going to be a pain in the ass. Realistically, the concept is that you're paying them to get dressed up for the date and nothing more. You're not trying to pay their rent. As someone else mentioned. Don't be an ass, be respectful, take them somewhere nice. Reap the benefits.

WYP has been a jackpot for me. In the last 9 months, I would say about 60% of the dates I actually go on, I get laid. Some for extra money, some because they like me. Two didn't fuck me, but gave me a BJ in the car. I've gotten better at determining scammers on that site, but I would probably say about 1 in 3 never follow up after you pay to message them. I don't know if the site is making fake profiles or someone made a fake profile with the intent of scamming and just never followed through. I have also met a couple of the "newer" TNA people on that site before they got on TNA.

So, I actually prefer that site over Seeking. On Seeking, everyone is looking for a SD on this site, I've met "normal" chicks that think its a site that you get paid for dating and nothing else.

Good to know, it may be my sample size then. I tried the minimum credit buy in of 100 and got 6 accepted offers. Four moved to text, one wouldn't give me her number w / out $ and one stopped responding after the first message. So technically a 66% response rate. OF model aside (she didn't get anything out of me), I have a pretty good criteria for fakes.

However, of the four willing to set up a date: one gave off psycho vibes, one lied about living in Seattle (I'm not driving to Oly), and two were straight scams. So, in the end, 33% chance of meeting an actual person but then it's still a roll of the dice.

The problem I have is how to tell the ones who are there for platonic dates vs non-platonic. I probably need to change my demographic criteria. They definitely could use more filters in the search. And I wish there was a way to block 1 photo profiles.

That's a very popular OF girl / pornstar. So obviously a catfish. And there are a ton of them there.

And I agree with what Michael said. Only started using WYP regularly a couple of months ago, and the success rate there has been higher than on SA and sometimes with just the money for the date. Just need to not be a creep (seems to be most guys they face on these sites) and a little bit charming I suppose.

Total GPS. I've gone on some pretty great dates recently (ages 20-25) that have ended in either free fun minus the costs of drinks and snacks up to about 300.
