Here's another tell-tell sign of a scammer: When you ask for their incall location and they are hesitant, and then they ask you for "your" location. After giving your location, they come up with a hotel, apartment, or house very close to you. Then comes the " I need a security deposit for my safety". I had one awhile back that gave me an address to a house that I was interested in buying one time, so I drove over there that night because it was only 5 minutes away. When I arrived, the request for a deposit came. I told her / him to flash the porch lights and I'd send a deposit. He / she said "The lights on the porch didn't work". I Still would never send a deposit even if they flashed the lights, especially to a LC ads provider.
