It depends on what the picture subject is. His private pics could be of his hairy butthole because he wants to show the ladies what they are expected to stick their tongue in. Now that could be off putting to some of the ladies.

Sharing the wrong photo is tantamount to sharing your real name these days if you have any sort of social media or Internet presence. At the same time, there's no way to avoid it if you want to draw in the true SBs. There are professional extortion artists out there as well as amateur scammers, plus there are just situations where things go wrong and the SB may try to lash out. So I think you have to be really careful. Here are my rules:

1) NEVER share a photo that was used on social media by you or by anyone else. Far too easy for anyone to reverse search that image and pull up your Facebook, Instagram, etc.

2) Be aware that even if you share a photo that isn't otherwise out there on the web, there are advanced search engines (I refuse to publicize the name of the site but you will know it if you have been paying attention) that can use a photo to scan the internet and identify similar images with disturbing accuracy. With regularity, it turns up my professional page with any non sunglasses pic (and even with some in sunglasses).

3) Never show public pics.

4) I personally don't use the private photos. Instead, I will send a photo in the chat feature and then promptly delete it shortly after sending it. It means my photo is on their server (until I decide to completely wipe my account), but it at least means the SB doesn't have it sitting around in a few hours / days / weeks if and when things go south and she wants to cause trouble.

5) Sometimes we get to text before a photo has been shared and she asks for it in text. I don't like this as much because once I send that photo in a text message, she has it for good. I tend to screen as much as I can before sharing a pic to make sure she is for real. And there are plenty of situations where I have cut off the conversation and missed out because I didn't feel comfortable sharing a pic yet. I have no regrets.

6) Use the same photo and only send one photo. I have one photo I use. I'm in sunglasses and the backdrop is obviously not anywhere close to here. It is pretty clearly me to anyone that knows me, but I can at least argue for some plausible deniability.

I found out that lots of the girls are put off by the private pictures. I started putting public pictures and have tons of actual matches from real veriified girls. I did video chat with many and have set up meetings. It seems all too easy with public pics, but to each his own.

Question for people in a relationship or married, are you sharing that in your profile or are you just putting single?
