Yeah Seattle's economy is heavily linked to the tech industry. We have other large employers but Tech dominates. It dictates how the city does financially. With the tech industry struggling it is reflecting in adjoining industries like rentals and housing. I really wish Seattle diversifies a little into the financial sector (like Chicago or NYC) to keep the economy and job market a little stronger and therefore keeping housing etc a little less volatile. Many, many posts on her. Think the consensus is she's looking for payment for meals and then is never heard from again, although I believe one user here was defending her as legit.
