This forum has years of guys clearly advising against deposits. I cannot understand why others fail to see this or even use common sense. I don't care if one gal was legit with a deposit. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER give a deposit. When these gals realize it won't work and we don't give in, they will stop asking. Additionally, do not give money upfront when you meet them. They will use excuses and leave the room and not return.

I find it funny how you preach about how for years guys have been saying not to send a deposit.

When I showed up two black dudes inside and one in a car. No signs of her anywhere. So I kept rolling. My thoughts are yes she got my deposit fee, but they were probably going to force me to an atm and take out more money. So I was lucky. But knowing this I had to share here. Do not fall victim. Be glad you were only taken for a small deposit fee that won't even pay to fill up most cars fuel tanks. They could have gotten a lot more. Stay vigilant guys!

Anyway, she agreed to come down to an amount I felt good about. Neighborhood was super shady, but I've been in worse. She was completely real, but I made the mistake of paying up front. She puts the money away and out comes a guy with a mask and a gun. They let me walk away without issue but I definitely took one for the team here.
