This forum has years of guys clearly advising against deposits. I cannot understand why others fail to see this or even use common sense. I don't care if one gal was legit with a deposit. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER give a deposit. When these gals realize it won't work and we don't give in, they will stop asking. Additionally, do not give money upfront when you meet them. They will use excuses and leave the room and not return.

My thoughts are yes she got my deposit fee, but they were probably going to force me to an atm and take out more money. So I was lucky. But knowing this I had to share here. Do not fall victim. Be glad you were only taken for a small deposit fee that won't even pay to fill up most cars fuel tanks. They could have gotten a lot more. Stay vigilant guys!
