Agreed. That is the new thing now. I have had 3-4 of these where they talk a good game, prices are reasonable (not ridiculously high or low) and not too eager. Send you to the parking lot of a hotel that others have used in the past. When you get there and ask the room number, Boom. They ask for the dreaded deposit.

These scammers have upped their game big time. This one was really good, took sweet ass time to answer texts, rates were on point, and even location was at supposedly at the hojo. I had doubts because of the new ad with no history that I could find. Be cautious and do a lot of research before you head out, this could've been a wasted drive.

You are spot on, a quick reverse image search shows these pictures being used in places like Nashville, Kansas City, LA and New York. Some are posted on the same day.
