I use Google Voice. Have it attached to a monger phone number. Keep the monger phone turned off and hidden deep in my golf bag where SO would never look.

I have a burner phone from TracFone. That is the 'real' number I use to set up my Google Voice account. That number does not trace to me, I paid cash in Target for the TracFone when I got it a number of years ago. When I needed more tech power, I walked into a mom and pop cell store and the guy got me a phone that has twice the memory for $100, moved the sim card and transferred all my contacts and messages. I buy time on the TracFone site w / prepaid cards, or I get TracFone cards at the pharmacy and enter them on the website. Nothing about the phone or GV can be directly traced to me.

If google were smart, they could bust me the same way David Petraeus was busted, two different devices in close proximity enabling the NSA to link two people, the Gen. And his mistress. However, they have no reason to do that for me, so I figure I am safe.

Has anyone used a gift card or prepaid card for secret benefits? If so, which one? Thanks The one I use for seeking doesn't work on SB.

Were you sending the same message to multiple numbers in quick succession? I got put on pause for a bit from Google Voice for that, maybe TextNow has similar ban? And if you can't tell, I use GV for my monger life. Been very stable for years (minus the one blip mentioned). With respect to my original post, not the specific one you replied to, I already said that my question regarded whether I should take my regular cell phone into a place I'll be seeing a SB. I have a Tracfone burner running GV that I use for all sugaring.

Phone off no tracking. Watched enough crime shows to know that. If it doesn't ping off a tower and you don't have location on there's no way of tracking.
