Your cell phone is always "on" even when it's off. The public tracker can be turned off but the private tracker the phone company and EMS has access to is never off. I don't think the police can access your location data w / o a warrant. Not likely granted for anything but major felonies. Best idea if you have a SB and a SO is to get a burner phone. Purchased with cash of course, otherwise you have forever linked it to yourself.

My question would be did you actually have sex with her? If not just block and keep it moving. If you did then stop texting and wait. If they send you another text tell them you have notified the authorities and they are investigating. 99% of them are just looking for easy payout. Be cool don't panic.

IK there are tech types who read here, my? Is about what is unsafe about my personal cell phone (not my burner phone) when I am out of pocket seeing a SB. On all the police procedurals, they are locating people instantly by where their cell phones are pinging. Is this capability available only to LE? Never my SO? IK that some people (sadly) have an iPhone w / a FindMyIPphone app on it, and that likely inhibits them from meeting up w / SBs where they aren't supposed to be. Also, are there records kept (I guess by your cell provider) of where the phone was pinging at all times?

Can my SO in any way shape or form track where I have been based on my cell phone? Should I therefore turn the dam thing off before I go off my well-trodden path to meet up w / a SB?

You have a few options the way I see it:

A. Don't text them anymore. It seems as if they're telling you they will extort you only if you continue to text them.

B. Report them to SA.

C. Go on the attack and try to track them down. I'm not saying to confront or extort them, but let them know you can get info on them as well.

We setup a meet in Short Pump (at a restaurant in the mall). Close to the meet time she sends me at least 5 texts back to back. Says she's close by and wants to know about parking. Should she park in the garage? There is no garage parking at the mall. Then she says she doesn't have time for this, fuck this shit, she's leaving, bye.

All these texts are within minutes of each other. Never gave me a chance to respond between texts.

She is either a fake or a flake. Either way I cut my losses and was thankful no money had been lost.

I am dumbfounded when they go through all that effort to arrange a simple M&G & flake. No monetary gain on her part. Sometimes I think it's a bunch of sorority girls getting a laugh, at the expense of older horn balls?
