I need to stop by and drop off that money I owe you for that (whatever) I bought from you. I'm close by, and would like to stop by ASAP (or whatever time your shootin' for), because I need to get home / work / gym whatever."...

Yeah, I get it, its a little bit clumsy and I have no idea about how iron-clad of a LEO-proof methodology it is, but one thing it doesn't do is make it look like I'm trying to pay for anything illegal. At least it doesn't mention time or "companionship" or anything in the legal grey area that is commonly undstood as a euphemism for the deed.

I have tried it a few times with varying degrees of success: one or two sharper / more sober providers have gotten the hint and played right along, and come back with something like "oh yeah, hey, I've been wondering when you were going to contact me to drop that off. We agreed on $150 (or whatever), right? Or something along those lines.

My belief is that the using that method described would generally get you one of two things.

One is shiny pair of Silver Bracelets if it is a Stinger.

If it's not a Stinger, the thing you would most likely get is ripped off (a 'la crappy service, shorted time, no service at all or a pimp busting in to rob you) for paying the provider in advance.

Conversely, if they come back with something like "Huh?" Or "what are you talking about?" I usually figure they are Uncle LEO, or just not all together too bright, and I usually move on (maybe after another try or two to see if the light bulb eventually comes on).

When / if I get to the spot, and after the usual preliminaries, I'll put the donation down and say something dumb and equally clumsy like "wow, your kinda cute, how about we do something legal consenting adults do?

I guess the point is that contact is made for some other distinct purpose, and the only thing that is ever mentioned is some type of legal transaction. Seems to me that if I ever walked into some kind of sting, some type of plausible deniability could exist. "Oh, hey guys, I guess I had the wrong number. Sex, hell no, I wasn't looking to pay for sex, that's illegal! Kinda funny that you had me drive over here knowing that I was looking to drop off some money, and you knew you weren't the person I owed it to. Seems kinda sketchy. Welp, have a good night officers."

Not sure it would play out like that, and maybe just my way of convincing myself that I'm smarter than the law, but at least it seems like there's something to it.
