I used to frequent Lavender Day Spa in WC, near BART, however have not returned post covid. Anyone have info on that place.

There was another place Excel in San Ramon, however looks like that is now closed.

I haven't been to Lavender in several months. The last time I was there, my favorite had left, and the replacement staff was very mundane in the massage- no enthusiasm, no teasing or flirting. The place had a vibe like an old hotel that used to be grand and sophisticated, but no one stayed anymore. I used to go there when I was new to mongering and now realize I was over-tipping for what I actually received. So those factors combined have pushed me to other places. It was also kinda weird driving past the anti-abortion protesters for the Planned Parenthood that shares the same parking lot.

Not very many good massages. But there is a place in oakland I think its called crystal island that does a decent massage but expect a monster bear to give you the he. Welcome to the bay.
