Wow, this thread blew up fast. I read most of the posts before they were deleted and after pondering on them for a bit, I decided to share a couple thoughts:
1. This is a risky hobby. The longer you are in, the greater the chance something undesirable is going to happen. If you think there is any way to ensure a 100% safe experience every time, you should get out now because you are destined to slip up. Always keep your guard up, believe nothing of what you hear / read, and only half of what you see.
2. You should not blindly trust the opinion of anyone. I don't care if they are a 10 yr Sr with 2,000 posts. Always take a little extra time and try to verify what you are being told. 99% of the time, no one on this board will steer you wrong. Every once in a while though, that 1% is going to get you burned one way or another. Might be a complete accident but is it worth the risk?
3. If someone here posts a recommendation of a newer provider, take a minute and look at their previous posts. This is especially true if it's not a regular contributor or appears to be newer to the board. That simple step has made me question many of posts and led me away from a provider. The more reason to believe it is too good to be true; the more reason to take this step.
4. Everyone, including myself, wants to experience the latest fresh provider but I believe those to be the most risky. If they just started posting yesterday, they are much more likely to be a scammer, robbery setup, law enforcement, etc. My rule of thumb is if you haven't been posting for at least a week, I'm staying away. If it's a traveling girl, I count posts in other areas but if they are local and just started in the last couple days, I'll let the sharks enjoy their fresh kill. I'm not beneath enjoying the scraps.
And one last time for the people in the back. These work for me, they may not work for you. These rules have kept me largely unharmed but not completely. There is no such thing as risk free mongering. If that is what you seek, this game / hobby is not for you.

Cops don't use this forum because if you knuckleheads are using it as you should then they can never authenticate any info. There was once, just once an actual sting on this forum and it was looking for pedos. A guy posted that he had a "super young" provider and respond by PM. When guys answered he told them she was 16. Except for one guy they all told him what a sick bastard he was. The one guy was in, they immediately moved him off our server "write me at this email" so that they could harvest all his meta data and then set up a sting, the had ZERO interest in regular mongers looking to fuck adults.
The next guy who calls another guy a cop gets banned.
