Now since we are the "consumer", I've learned to be straight forward, but tactful with my demands; that way a lot of time isn't wasted. I feel-out the situation with the response that I receive and go from there. I had to learn that I needed to control the "narrative", plus it also allowed me the "break the ice" and take some of the stress out of a "initial meeting".
