I got a text out of the blue saying this new place was open west side near Columbus Circle. I get that a lot of people visit NY. Personally I would just read up and take the plunge on my own, but I get that some people want a bit of advice. But IMO there's a big difference between senior members from other parts of the country with lots of legit posts just asking for local knowledge versus sketchy lurkers who have never provided anything and could be from anywhere.
