Yah, based on prior reviews, wasn't planning on getting a massage from Mai. Was expecting more a Japanese Hostess experience. So her bar concept is the perfect thing for her. Drinks with a little conversation and entertainment. And after a few visits, I'm sure that fish will be kicking.

That advertising photo is laughable. Even at lower estimates of her age, she wouldn't have such uniformly colored, perfectly smooth and completely flawless skin.

After I posted the above-quoted comment about the advertising photo being "laughable," a switcheroo was made. The laughable photo was replaced in the advertisement by a significantly different photo, which at least is not laughable.

It is rare but possible. Not someone in this business but there was a Vietnamese restaurant owner who had amazingly smooth skin well into her late 60's or maybe even 70's. Her place was on Maunakea Street between Hotel and Pauahi but has changed its name since she sold it and retired. Very rare but possible.
