Not necessarily. There was a discussion on Streetwalker forum about the attempts to relocate the tent city on NMS to other areas. Naturally I mentioned Martha's Vineyard, as a renown wealthiest area in Massachusetts (and the US) and OTHER wealthy neighborhoods. Sure Martha's Vineyard was in the news lately but that didn't make it 'political', maybe a bit sardonic with the rich areas vs. The areas where local computer programmers and other regular folk live but surely not political.

In fact I was actually debating on whether to post it on Streetwalkers, where the conversation was taking place, or in General Reports but the idea of posting it on the Massholes never even crossed my mind. I wasn't getting into anybody's face. Moreover, nobody even commented on my post but I'm sure few people grinned.

So yes, my friend, you're a bit hypersensitive and freaked out over staff that you shouldn't have freaked out over. I think BA doesn't affect you well, and you're way overdue for a good dosage of Rio therapy in order to calm your nerves. Come on man. Obviously somebody complained about my comment being a political commentary but it wasn't really. It was a suggestion to locate homeless related services including methadone clinics in wealthier neighborhoods of our great Commonwealth instead of the poorer ones in order to maybe actually get the problem resolved.

During last year there were plenty of comments on this forum to move everything from NMS to more poorer towns outside of Boston like Saugus, Lynn, Revere, even Quincy. Those comments didn't get similar reactions. It's only when I mentioned one of the richest areas in the United States, Martha's Vineyard, which contains Chilmark, one of the wealthiest town in the United States, as well as few wealthier neighborhoods outside of Boston. Wellesley and Dover. It is only then there was a complaint that I'm being political. I suspect the complaint came somebody who resides in one of those places and doesn't want the idea of such services coming to his neighborhood getting a peek anywhere, even on the forum like this.

Sure, nowadays Martha's Vineyard is fresh on people's mind due to poor 50 Venezuelans suddenly disturbing the peace of the poor rich folk living there, but here in Mass this was no news in regards to our exquisite exclusive island. We know that Saugus, Lynn, and Quincy is for lowly computer programmers like you Admin2, while Martha's Vineyard is those that come from a better stock. Shame on you Admin2! Shame on you!
