I finally got a hold of her just a bit ago. She has been asleep all day and mother nature came to pay her a visit today. So to those that have her digits it's going to be at least 3 or 4 days before she will be available again. That is her usual visit span anyway. The only person I knew in the area and had in my contacts where I could just push a button on the steering wheel and tell my car to call was Summer so I called her and she came just as quick as she could walk the 3 miles away that I was. She made it way faster than I expected her to and I was unable to move at all when she got there. She scooted my seat back and sat between my legs and drove me to the ER as fast as she could get me there and ran inside to get help. It took several people to get me out of my car and inside. After several hours of x rays and tests they found that I had ripped a hole in the muscle between my ribs. Summer sat right beside me up until they took me back for my last scan before she couldn't stay awake any longer and went outside to the car to sleep. When I was released the nurse at the front desk said she had come in every 30 minutes for an update on my condition and was very worried about me. It was almost 9 o'clock when I finally got released and I live almost an hour and a half away, and I still could barely breath or move so I had to get a room nearby for the night. Summer went with me and took care of me all night making sure I was ok and even went down and filled my prescriptions and brought me breakfast in the morning. I have seen Summer nearly every weekend for almost a year now but I can't thank her enough for what she did for me this Sunday. She could easily have said not my problem, call an ambulance, but she didn't. I'm very sorry that you went through this and I imagine it was not just scary but extremely painful. And although the news is something very negative this story has to be the best post of all time I've read on this forum. It's great to know that there are good people in this business. I am home recovering now. Having a ripped muscle between your ribs is not something I would ever wish on my worst enemy but I will recover. I'll most likely be out for a month or so but will eventually recover. Every time I cough the muscle pops out and back in again and feels absolutely wonderful when it does LOL. Without Summer's help I was screwed. I couldn't reach my phone and had to push the call button on my steering wheel with a straw that was in my drink on my console and tell my car to call Biscuit which is what I call her LOL. Long story there. She was back with her bf and had only been there maybe 5 minutes from our overnight when I called and he got mad at her but she still got up and came to help me as fast as she could get there and didn't return to him until 4 pm the next day and she had been with me since 1 on Saturday. So she was with me from 1 Saturday until 4 on Monday. He was not a happy camper but all she cared about was making sure I was going to be ok. Granted I have seen her every weekend since last December and had an overnight visit once or twice a month, but she is a true friend. Better than some friends I've had for years I think. I love this girl to no end. It just kills me that she has many places she could stay but chooses to live homeless with her pos bf. I do all I can to help her and she repaid me ten fold in one day. My good friend Dugglc fell very ill when he was on a weekend date with Summer. Dugglc was incapacitated in his car and he could not move. They got separated. Summer had to walk 3 miles to get to Dugglc and take him to the hospital. While in the hospital, Summer stayed right beside him in the hospital room never leaving his side for hours. She waited in the ER the whole time. When he finally got checked out, Summer stayed with him in his hotel room nearby taking good care of him. If Dugglc needed something, Summer would be right there to help him get it. I absolutely love Summer for what she did for Dugglc. So if you have Summers digits, please help her out.
