Never ever have, never will. I expend time and effort every day to try and close deals without the expectation that I would be paid for that time. You never close 100% of the time. That's just business.

Some providers will tell you they have such a great reputation that they would never damage that by ripping you off. Maybe they did yesterday, but that doesn't mean today they haven't met up with some DB or just decided they're over it. These pages are rife with tales of great providers who have changed their stripes, but of course they always will come up with a million excuses when they do no show.

That also means making an electronic funds transfer which exposes you to a whole other world of potential shit.
