At any rate, while the politician / police chief wants to hit on the trafficking angle, the real angle of organized crime is ignored. I'm not saying the bosses don't traffic these women, making them work in theses AMPs to pay off huge debts for helping them immigrate, but that's only one financial aspect of these money-laundering machines.

The current sheriff of Lapeer County came from Mt. Morris Township, north side of Flint, and has to be familiar with these AMPs and how they are run. Maybe he's more than glad for the Imlay chief to take the credit for the bust and have the target on HIS back when the mob comes calling to make someone pay for their loss of income.

Is a far cry from being unfaithful, to slipping abortion pills, which I doubt was really proven. In many courts the extreme detai he was forced to testify to, would never had made it into most court rooms. Was enough to get him to admit to being unfaithful. Many courts these days are extremely politically motivated. One side's dragged through the gutter; the other side, gets full immunity, with no testimony required, no rolling over on someone higher, just blanket immunity.
