When the club first reopened during covid times my regular gave me the tour of the new VIP rooms and pointed out the cameras. I was like, "that's not good" and she agreed but said customers still bought them because it gave them a false sense of privacy, or they simply didn't know. She said it's more for a safety thing for the dancers.

There's also cameras in the main lapdance area too.
