But I think most of us on this board have had similar experiences with providers who seemed to be honest and reliable but suddenly pull some crap. Personally, I put it down to drugs or financial problems or any of a number of possible issues. The gals who offer these kinds of services are not exactly known for their professionalism, at least not all the time. A lady whose donation is half-a-grand and who is advertising on a site that charges a lot, yeah, I expect (or at least hope for, LOL) a provider who is on time and pulls no crap.

But the gal you mentioned treated you fairly twice, asked you for a reasonable donation, and bailed on that one occasion. Since then, it sounds like you reached an arrangement that avoids anymore disappointment like the time she took the donation and proceeded to ghost you. If she hadn't agreed to take your donation only after the visit, she would have lost you as a client.

Just be careful that she doesn't ask you for a pre-pay donation again sometime in the future. It's like the old saying goes, "Fool me once, shame on you, but fool me twice, shame on me. ".
