While I admit I'm still pretty new myself and have a low post count, I have at least learned the etiquette here and I will share some of that with you.

First, welcome to the community. We're a fickle bunch and you need to learn pretty quick if you want to stay in good standing.

Next, this ain't yo momma's basement. No one is going to spoon feed you here. You need to be self sufficient. Read as much as possible. In fact there was a post from yesterday (literally 4 posts down) with great tips.

Finally, remember common sense. You're brand new to the community so you need to do some research and possibly change your thinking. You're asking others to divulge information to a complete stranger. You could be LEO for all we know. It's not beyond the realm of possibility.

The one word that is consistent in fake ads is "hookup". No real escort uses that work. 100% of the ads that have "hookup" anywhere in the entire as 100% fake.

The sad part about these scams is clearly they generate income for the overseas assholes or they wouldn't keep doing it. But o / w I agree with clues and warnings you all have posted.

Totally agree. Four things always trigger the FAKE flag for me: 1. If the pics look professional and TGTBT; 2. Not listing the specific area in Louisville where they're located (as noted above, such as: Old Louisville, Highlands, Clarksville, Hurstbourne, St Matthews, etc.); 3. The use of the word "STYLE" anywhere in the ad. As in, "I give all sex styles" or "Doggy style available" or All sex styles for you"; and 4, If they readily say they'll do ANYTHING (particularly bare with no mention of an upcharge). Any or all of these: FAKE.

I really don't see how you're not sure of what I'm talking about when the Title area says exactly what the Subject at hand is about. I mean that IS what the title area is for. It titles what is being discussed. I'm pretty sure everyone else understood what I was meaning when I titled it Direct Messages, instead of using the term Private Messages. Seriously though, is there really a difference?. The message goes directly to the person, which is still a private message. If that's not clear enough, maybe someone else in our group can explain to you or I the difference or a better way of stating / talking here.

So you're saying that just because I have only 5 comment in our forum, it's not worth your time to take a quick look to see if the DM / PM might actually be something worth replying to. Heck, a person new to the game might be reaching out for some advice that's not comfortable posting for everyone to see.

To each there own I guess. I know people don't go out of the way much anymore, but to just take 30 seconds max, to click on the message with your mouse / finger, read it & possibly help another member.

However, at the same time I understand if the DM was just freaking stupid & not worthy of a person's time to even respond, just hit the delete tab & move on just like we all do with the countless spam emails.

I'm glad others have a few seconds to spare for us "newby" commenting members that have been in the game probably as long as a lot of the others here. Some people just like to see what the news is just like a news paper. I'd say a lot of members enjoy reading, taking everyone's advice / thoughts about each encounter.

You're not getting responses because you're new with no real posts to date that would convince anyone that you may not be LEO. So, you have no real cred on the board because you haven't shared reviews that can be substantiated by others. Fortunately, you're going to have to do what all the rest of us have had to do when we started: Read 10 to 30 pages of each main board for this area to learn who to see and not to see. Visit the ones that resonate with you. Post reviews of those providers. After numerous reviews that jive with what a few others have experienced, others may begin to trust that you're a regular dude and not Officer SkiCrazzy. Sorry, but this is how things work.

One of the main clues is odd word choices.

Keep in mind that the scammers are dudes operating from internet cafs in Nigeria, Ghana, Russia or Bulgaria, and they use translation software, which doesn't always work well.

"I'm AVAILABLE FOR ANY OF SEX STYLES👅DOGGY" at the beginning of the ad, and "129321;You will not regret how rich you will spend it" at the end of the ad.

Being too eager is another clue. Most providers list rules like "no anal" or "no AA". "If you ask explicit questions you will be blocked".

Not having a local phone number and not mentioning any hint of location also makes my bullshit detector quiver.

Incredible waste of time. Relatively responsive via text, set up an incall (which was in a lousy location) and drove nearly two hours in total. Kept her updated on the road with ETA, crickets.
