I believe it is the other away around.
If you give LSC / PC as a reference, they may not respond to the k-org that contacts them.

I would suggest that you just contact them and provide whatever reference you have.
If they don't accept it or the k-org doesn't respond, the PO will let you know.

With a few orgs, I was still able to get schedule even when a reference didn't respond to them, so you aren't losing anything by trying.
Forgot which ones though, since it's been a while since I have had to get screened.
