The main Gate can be opened quite easily with a crappy pair of sun glasses and a little bit of dexterity. Due to the nature of the gates double opening action generating a lot of mechanical slop at the jam / strike its hard to shield the latch from reaching down and pushing it aside with a 4 - 5 inch instrument like the leg of a pair of glasses. I would not recommend to do that with anybody nearby but I would go ahead and make the motion of swiping a key fob / card at the reader before hand so to a casual observer you look like you legitimately gained access, other wise you might look a little. Shady.

Yeah the gate has been closed for awhile. Some residents complained and leasing office sent a notice to all residents to keep that gate shut.

If you got those references, that should be enough. There's 4 reviews from last September on TER (Bebe: 363188) you may want to check out and maybe contact those reviewers about photo accuracy.
