Asked what her requested allowance for a date was. She said $400 and then immediately downgraded herself to $300 before I could even respond LOL. We exchanged #s and set up a specific date (day, time, place). I texted her the morning of to confirm. No response until three hours after the date was supposed to happen. "Sorry, the day got away from me. " I didn't respond. A day or two later, she texted again to ask if I was still interested and I told her to beat it.

Ahh. Ok. My interaction with her was just plain weird. LOL. It was at 5 in the morning as well. I couldn't get any kind of response from her besides. "Hi. I'm good. How are you?" For three texts in a row. I was like WTF??

If you want to keep her on standby, you could say that money is tight and you have to make some budget changes for the coming year.

I use cash app with my SBs but after the fact.

I've experienced the cashapp me gas / babysitter etc scammers, but this is a new one. Doesn't want cash, cashapp only in person. I declined but wanted to ask if anyone else has seen this. Is there any way to trace back to you via cashapp? Or maybe she's worried about getting robbed of the gift if it is cash?

Anyone have a good way to let a casual SB down lightly? Normally there has been something instigating the break thus easy. Lies / Drunk / Moving / etc. In this case. Well. She'll take whatever I give her and say 'thankyou daddy' afterwards. Only issue is she's put on 30-40 lbs on a small frame over the last year and every time I provide an allowance I ask myself why. :/ Could be honest but that seems cruel. Thinking the 'I starting dating someone normally. '. Not sure why this one bothers me as I've ended several in the past. Maybe not wanting to burn a bridge here? Have my cake and eat it too if I strike out on sb's worth the allowance.

As the other guy said, you could ghost her if she has no idea about your details. Another option is the old "I've met someone else" thing. Or pick out something she loves (jesus, her brother, favorite band, some deeply held belief, whatever) and start taking a (proverbial) shit on it. She'll end it quick enough.

When you say "allowance" are you doing a monthly / weekly allowance or are you just doing PPM?

If you're doing an actual regular allowance, then good luck. She ain't going to be happy.

If you're doing PPM, then stop calling her over. If she confronts you say, "inflation, recession and I need to cut back, I still want to see you, but not that often" then if you want to see her, you can still call.
