I would warn everyone here that cancelling out of frustration can sometimes lead to unnecessary conflicts with the booker. Not speaking for all bookers, but some can be pretty irrational and pin the blame on you if you try to cancel after BS like this. Best solution would be to request shortening the time like did, given that it was their fuck up.

I can understand the frustration of the door sometimes not working but I won't say it's the fault of the girl or booker for the door not working. Send an email and complain to the cheap ass management of the building for costing you time. One can't expect the kgirl hiding under those lights with tons of makeup on and lingerie to put on a jacket to come get you haha. I had that happen to me once where my time was cut short because the gate box wasn't unlocking the entrance. Spent near 20 min going back and forth with the booker to open the gate for me. By the time I finally got in, I just asked the girl straight up if she was willing to extend the time so I get my full hr. Coming early does not always work as the guy before you is over his time limit and banging on your dime, now I just tell booker fuck it and cancel if waiting eight minutes and girl still banging away. I did it couple times and bookers have no problem with it.

Agreed. If being late is my fault then I give up some time. If being late is the girl's fault then it's on her. Ususally not a big deal and the POs know how to work this out.

One time I got stuck on the 405 in an accident-caused delay. I was running late, let the PO know as the time got closer. Eventually the PO offered to cut my time back to 30 minutes but I declined and skipped the appointment. Wasnt BLd so the only loss was my time and frustration with the horrid traffic that morning.

Pepsi runs me out of the room when my hour is up, even if I came in 10-20 minutes late due to the booker's negligence.

I've mentioned the time shorting issue to them both, but they pretty much blow me off.
