Simple fix. When searching for 3 letter names follow letters with *. Example, Amy becomes Amy* . Problem solved.

Type the name twice like Amyamy or annann. Sometimes that works.

Valid point, though not for Erica, 5 letters, easily searched. While I didn't check the post, a search for Erica led to 120 results. Seems like an excellent start!
