The days of 80 cent half hours are over, unless you are grandfathered in. The QV's are even 100+, and the few real good ones are now figuring out they can get guys with money to pay even more.

So it goes. I have found that if I pay the gate rate first time, and can make an impression (hygiene, respect, etc) then I can usually get the rate down some. I am not poor, but I don't want to throw money away either.
