Because many people can appreciate being given a heads up so they don't appear on the news or whatever. Not everyone in this so-called hobby can detect such things, perhaps because they are new and have never experienced these things with LEO. As I mentioned in a previous post, unfortunately, I have done this for far longer than I care to admit and because of this, I have faced off with LEO more than 6 times and as a result, I have figured out who they are due to how they operate. They have a certain MO. Now, I won't go into details on how I knew, as this is a public board and I don't want them to change their tactics, but suffice it to know that I have figured it out and because I don't want others to get jammed up, I feel it is my duty to warn you. Whether people accept it or not, the warning has been given! Never ever have I gotten arrested for solicitation!

One time, I went to visit a provider off university years ago when the Red Carpet Inn was near I-95. I was able to detect it was LEO--long story short, they at least figured out where I was located in the parking lot and they sent a cruiser to pick me up and take me to the motel room with the other UC's and they wanted to know how was I aware of who they were. They were rather impressed; why? Because I have figured out how they operate. This particular time was no different, in terms of how they operate and I, of course, used the same tactics I used years ago and now I can say that I am gladly sitting in the comfort of my home because I did not take the bait. Let me tell you something, this particular ad had all the hallmarks of what I used to see way back. We have always given LEO warnings on this site and personally, I thank those who give warnings.

Sometimes, if the vets on here are not always alert, anyone can easily slip, so I think it's imperative that we keep each other informed in order to avoid a potential uncomfortable situation! So anyhow, take it for what it's worth and gents, I hope you are always willing to report such things, as that is part of what the board is about--keeping us safe!

I always appreciate these reports. I have been on and off with this hobby, and not as experienced as most here, it has saved my arse from making life challenging mistakes. Appreciate it and I will do the same. It appears that scammers and or LEOs are getting creative in luring us in. This is why this forum is so important not only for our safety, but help protect us from expensive consequences.

I'm real curious about how the royal honey compares, since grabbing something off the shelf would be far more convenient than waiting for a shipment to arrive.

If someone isn't smart enough to know to avoid that then they are probably someone LEO needs to throw under the cement. Someone that would take your daughter for $. It's not always the best idea to report LEO, IMO.

So, I forgot to mention that LEO usually uses the underage thing to up the charges on you if you agreed to their terms. This person was very explicit and deliberate in letting me know the age! I am sure there was no girl present, but they could tell a judge that said client had agreed to see a young girl. They tried something like this on me before at a hotel off Baymeadows! Again, it's just to stack up more charges on you. Solicitation is one thing, but when you ad the other charges, such as these, your life can get very complicated! The person told me when we meet, he / she would meet me in a public place, then he or she would take me to the house to meet the girl. I tell you, this tactic appeared very familiar to me! It's how they do biz!

IMO:

Prices seem to range different from each location based on the local economy of the region. In areas where corporate industry is dominant the hourly rates are high. In areas where blue collar industry is dominant the rates are lower. They also differ based if the place is rural, suburban or city. Industry says that compared to LA. Jacksonville would host cheaper rates. Also rates potentially becoming inflated with the way the city has been advancing economically the last few years so I guess what's happening is directly related to the growth of the city.

This is just my two cents- I think it's more likely a scam than LEO. But I have no idea other than what the original poster said.

I think it's always a good idea to share scams or suspected scams here, because that's the best way to avoid them. Let's face it- it's very likely that we've all been the victim of a scam while hobbying, whether it's a bad provider or an out-of-country call center trying to get a deposit.

I also think, as an aside, that as responsible hobbyists, if we think someone underage is being trafficked, we should report that to law enforcement. I don't think that's the case here, but if it was, that should be escalated to the appropriate law enforcement agency.

Not too long ago I posted about a call I got from a guy claiming to be with FBI. He said he got my number from a phone of a provider I contacted who was underage. But he checked my background and new I wasn't a criminal and for the nice low price of $1500 her parents wouldn't press charges. At first I was a little freaked as the number that propped up googled to a local FBI number. After time I realized it was a scam and they tried a few times with different girls I contacted, sometimes they were fbi, sometimes they said they were states attorney. They always spoofed the number and claimed for money the parents wouldn't press charges. I always used a phone number app, and that's the number they would call. Not very good background checking LOL.

After reading your post and checking the link, I saw the providers number was the same one that you said texted you from. Makes me wonder if these dbs are now trying to gather info on you, have you meet them to get to a young girl that doesn't exist and then blackmail you from there. At least that's my thought.
