IMO:

Prices seem to range different from each location based on the local economy of the region. In areas where corporate industry is dominant the hourly rates are high. In areas where blue collar industry is dominant the rates are lower. They also differ based if the place is rural, suburban or city. Industry says that compared to LA. Jacksonville would host cheaper rates. Also rates potentially becoming inflated with the way the city has been advancing economically the last few years so I guess what's happening is directly related to the growth of the city.

It is refreshing to be able to hear from Mica fellas, yall should listen to her.

Your comments are certainly appreciated and I'm definitely well aware of such tactics since I have been doing this far longer than I care to say, as it would be too embarrassing. I could tell she was new and that certain terms to newbies are certainly possible. But even with terms such as FS / full service, technically, this does not mean I'm asking for sex. Full service can mean different things to different people. I mean, I can get full service at a gas station like they do in New Jersey--see my point? Jax is less than a million people, fine place to live and I like it here, but Jax is nothing like living in LA or NYC or London! Jax is very small-town, provincial, conservative and with one of the lowest college-educated adult base. Salaries in LA do not compare to Jax, the fact someone gets a raise in LA has absolutely no bearing on salaries or hourly wages in Jax. It is a cliche to say because one goes up the other will do the same. Again, I like Jax, I lived here 20 years and I am not putting Jax down. But, I also know what Jax is and what real cities are really like.

As a long time monger, I have see Kass, Fancy, and zillions of providers every year on stg. Nope, I am not saying I went to dream with them, I am saying I see them day after day, week after week, moth after month, year after year, decade after decade on Jacksonville STG! Again it is cliche thinking to say Jax providers can hop on planes and fly to real cities and get high rates for their worn-out bodies and horrible services. That kind of think is what Lightning was advising against. It seems to be used as an excuse to pay Jax providers high rates because they will otherwise fly away. Such thinking just aint true. It is not reality. First, JKass and Fancy, et al do not have private jets gassed and waiting to fly them to NYC or Paris to make the big bucks. Heck, these girls do not even have cars! Second the Jax providers could hitch a ride to Miami or Tampa or Orlando if they wanted to get some bigger bucks, but the fact is they do not! These Jax girls stay in Jax. We do not have to pay high rates out of fear they will jump on a jet and fly to Paris because it just is not real to think that way. Finally, I have seen providers here and in many cities, including Amsterdam where you walk up to a window and pick a provider for 50 guilders or selecting a real fine provider in LA. These providers in Jax would get eaten up in LA and would never make even 50 dollars. We do not need to use an excuse to pay insane rates because Kass or whoever can get on a jet and fly to a top-paying city or that since salaries are higher in LA we need to pay more for local providers. Cliche or excuse thinking, that is not reality.
