I can understand Rusty Muffler is sick of dealing with Covid. Most people, me included, are. But yesterday one of my go to AMPs was closed because someone there contracted Covid. If you follow the main stream news you know that while the new variant is not as deadly, it is still dangerous to older people and those with certain health problems, young or old. And it is highly transmissible. So, yes, everyone has to decide what their risk tolerance is for themselves. But it's disrespectful to say those who are more concerned about the disease are "chicken littles."

Yes, A2 is absolutely right! The danger of dying from COVID has been drastically reduced. I said I'm NOT worried about dying or even being hospitalized by COVID because I'm vaccinated & boosted. However, I am worried about the unknown: Long COVID. That's something no one can dismiss because none of us are clairvoyant.

But I am considered a "chicken little type" because I stated I'm on "a pause" right now due to the new Omicron subvarients (4 & 5). The forum has recently been littered with posts about COVID concerns. I am not trying to scare anyone, I just asked if anyone else is taking a break right now?

A better question to the members is which of our local massage purveyors are being careful about ongoing risks by their cleanliness (changing linens between clients, wiping down headrests with antiviral disinfectants, etc.) and consistently wearing a mask? Those are the ladies I'd like to see.
