Sorry if this is too meta, but has anyone had any success using day use (hotel check-in at 10-6) for a meetup? Normal check-in is like 3 pm so you would have to get two nights to use the space during the day.

My concern is that it's a red flag for escort activity and would prefer not having some bored clerk keeping an eye on it or something. If people have tried and it doesn't matter then I would give it a go. The rules don't say no guests or anything, which would immediately put the kibosh on it.

Call the hotel and tell them you need to check in early. Say noon. Unless busy they will usually accommodate. If they are slummy they don't care.
