1.) unlike escorts, where they are ready to bang when you are, a SB is going to take a few days to maybe a few weeks. Work / school, real life happens.

2.) you can never hear this enough- never pay before meeting. I would add never pay for a m&g either.

3.) price may vary, but most SB's can be had for between 2-400. Negotiate as you see fit depending on how hot you think the girl is, and what is allowable on her menu.

4.) YMMV. You won't get everyone you target. It's a numbers game though. You're going to have to put out a lot of feelers to get a few good leads. You got to cultivate these SB's.

5.) your approach is your business, but a non-creepy, non explicit opening works best for most guys. "want to fuck?" Isn't going to get you far if you can't pull it off looks / wallet-wise. Remember, these ladies don't want to be reminded that they are selling pussy like an escort.

YMMV but I think most would agree that it can take alot of time more than anything else. First weeding out the real profiles from the fake ones, then once figuring that part out you will deal with the ones that are actually real, but will flake on you. So that part can be a bit tedious. As far as cost, a few yrs ago for a hot sb the avg going rate was $250-$300. But in the past yr or so there seems to have been a sudden bump in the market and now most "quality" sb's will laugh at $300. The sweet spot seems to be in the $400 range or higher, I've seen some that are expecting $800-1 k. I just laugh and block them. And most of them that you talk to know the game and are dtf. Any that aren't I don't waste my time with, because there's another dozen behind them that are.

But whatever you do never ever pay them upfront for anything. Not even $20 for gas. If you pay upfront you'll never ever see or hear from them again. Even if you've met them once, and they hit you up for money before seeing them again, do not pay. Some on here do meet and greets, I personally do not. I always make my arrangements for meeting at a room, but to each his own. Don't ever pay for a meet and greet either. You'll never get them in the bed if you're paying them to have a drink with you. So the topic of whether there's a private SB group that exchanges info on SD's has been discussed, debated, and dismissed a few times on the board.
