Yes, working on your own turf makes it easier to control the situation. Of course do not send her a deposit or any money to travel. At best do a Uber where the worst that could probably happen is you getting charged $5 if she ghosts the ride.

Based on what I have heard she still seems low risk. But I also think she never intended to do a call with him that day. He should have known she was never going to make it up to him. They have no concept of making something right, even a girl who is generally well reviewed.
