Went by three locations not long back. Ironically, up to this point I've been fairly lucky in terms of the menu offerings, so much so I'd wondered about these mythical existence of these fabled "standard ending only" places. As luck would have it, that was the entirety of what I discovered on this recon.

First stop Carnation, on Sandy:

This was merely a pass through. Had hoped the lady I met originally, on my very first pass-through, would have been there, but the AMP gods weren't on my side. I agreed to a massage with the lady who greeted me, but her age, build and mask wearing proclivity made me abort that impulse before even entering the room. Either way, I've always heard this was a standard ending only place, so I likely didn't miss much. Didn't ask, or get too far.

Both the ladies I've met were on the older side, 40's to maybe early 50's, and neither were first glance temptations. The lady I wanted to see just had a nice face, but suffice to say I walked on her too on my initial visit, so nothing mind blowing.

Anybody else ever say "no," only to have the person you dismissed grow in your memory's esteem?

Second stop was Hollywood Massage, on Powell:

I had heard this place was fairly mind blowing, in terms of the masseuses, but was notoriously a "standard ending only" joint. Egotistically I had hoped to have been the exception, but I now understand why that wouldn't be likely for anyone. The separation between rooms was flimsy at best, and sound isolation just isn't a thing at all. Despite having a door that fully shut, it was probably the least private experience I ever experienced.

That said, I was absolutely floored by how young and beautiful the staff happened to be at this location. If standard finishes were my thing I'd never go anywhere else. If she told me she was 19, I'd have believed it.

I did a half hour, and the massage was better than average. She was nice enough. Little in the enthusiasm department, but not dower either. Standard finish with some under the cloths roaming, but nothing below the waist. Pricing was reasonable, but not great. Specifics elude memory. I remember thinking the price was only worthwhile given the rarity of finding somebody this hot.

I should take a second to mention I rather dislike standard finishes, so much so that I wouldn't be in the hobby if those were the only option. The fact I even agreed to such is a testament to how amazing this lady was. Alas, I have forgotten her name (though while in my room I heard another punter come in and ask if "Lilly" was working. A name I made a mental note to inquire about in the future).

Fun aside, while hanging around the area after the experience, an older lady walked by (likely in her 70's or 80's) smoking a massive blunt. Dressed in super loud pastels, rocking shades and a backpack, she offered me a hit before continuing her stroll down the street. I declined, but was touched.

Final stop: Beautiful Spa.

I was still looking to scratch the full service itch, and was fairly certain this spot would offer. Alas not so much.

I initially turned on my heels, given both the ladies in the lobby were closer to 60 than 40. After leaving, I decided to just give it a shot, and went back. One of the ladies looked like she was pretty sexy in her heyday, and the isolated nature of the room and general location made me feel confident things would go my way. Alas, this was not to be.

The massage was decent, but she claimed the owner forbade anything beyond a standard ending. She was super (and I mean SUPER) engaged, however, hugging me over and over, and even lying down next to me on the bed to cuddle. She even offered me a bizarre alternative to full service. Basically various points on her body where her legs met her torso. I had to laugh a bit, but declined. Nice lady, however.

Question: Considering a voyage towards the south soon. Meldrum gets a bad wrap around here. Avoid 100%? It's full service, yeah? Figured I'd start there, and wrap around to Yoyo in West Linn (by way of Oregon City). Yoyo is still the best full service shop I've visited thus far (which is to say they offered it, and the lady was realistically in her 20's. But the negatives were pricing and mask wearing).

And being nice helps a lot when you enter these places. Tipping is a great way to foster great service. As such. I do understand each of us is in their own economic platform. I might have more disposable than most or some to throw at this hobby. Then again. I can be cheap however I tip good for the service I like. I love it when a girl tells me what I consider a reasonable price for what I want. And then I will always return when I can, It is nice to be recognized by the girl or girls when you come back a few weeks later on.

Good luck guys. Prices are going up everywhere. If you get good service. My motto is you can always make more money.

Agree totally with this. Concerns of somehow shifting the scale with a generous tip is overblown. Truth of the matter is undertipping is far more common. I have discussed this quite a bit with one of the gals who I consider a friend. You would not believe some of the stories. Tips ranging from 0 to 20 are commonly given for a HE and of course those folks are not posting here. I am a bit more understanding of those gals that haggle though I don't really like it either. And then there are those who don't receive the service they desire will not tip but also piss or defecate on the massage table which is an extreme of bad behavior and underscores how difficult life gets for these gals. Again these folks are not likely to be posting here, but reveal a darker side of this activity.

Had some free time today so I ventured out. Kept debating between Enjoy and Oasis as they are decently close together. I haven't been to Enjoy for a very very long time and always wanted to stop by Oasis to scout it out, but timing never worked. Decided to hit up Oasis near the Walmart. The exterior seems very legit. The interior not so much, but the signs out front are plastered with the tradiitonal asian massage style signs, and the place is open from like 10 am-9 pm. Reviews online seems to mostly point to legit, but if you don't know, you got to test it out, right? Finally dropped in there and was met with a very sexy little asian in her 20's at the front counter on her phone. 1 hr, . 7 and was immediately led back. Got undressed, different girl came in who was probably in her late 40's but looked a bit younger than that. Cute face, body, but was wearing jeans and a tshirt. I think I knew right then that this was no good. Spent 90% of the time on my front, she did introduce some hot stones which was a nice touch. Pretty good massage though. Couldn't quite touch at all, but I dropped a couple minor movements. Flipped, and she did the face massage, then put a couple tissues and blindfold on me. Immediately heightened the sensations and got me wondering. She got close to the little guy a few times but no cigar. Did legs and feet and then pulled of the blindfold and said all done. Ugh, I had a hunch going into it, but I wanted to try. Between the asians, the late hours, the asian type signage, it was definitely somewhere to check out just to not miss out on anything with me driving by every day. Oh well. . 2 tip on the table on my way out of the room for a regular massage and I was on my way. I could tell she really wanted the tip in hand, but I always feel weird doing that in the front. I let her know it was on the table and she said see you next time as I walked out the door and she headed back to the room, presumably for her tip. Nothing special here, but overall good massage.

Hoping to get to Enjoy on Evergreen this weekend and see if it's still gone downhill from when it used to be good at their grand opening, or if it's still living on old reputation. It's the least I could go for my my lost brothers in arms for memorial day. I'll update as soon I drop by.

Got a text from the owner / scheduler saying there's a new girl. Sent me a picture of a gorgeous woman. I asked if that is her actual photo or just someone that looks like her. They respond by saying the photo is the girl. I go there, guess what? Surprise! It's a different girl. To be fair, the one that was there today is attractive, but the bait and switch turned me off. I don't tip based on some set standard, I tip based on my experience and if I want them to be excited to see me next time I walk through the door. To reach their own, tip what you choose to tip.

Most confuse a tip with a fixed price and they also want the sex trade to obey prevailing economic theories. They just all butt hurt because women control the 'market'.

FYI, do to the preponderance of bitching my standard tip will now be 100.

The newer girls are not jaded yet and love to please. However after a few hundred dicks I am sure its more of a wham bam get the fuck out for me type of attitude. Sad but so true. That is why the rotate them. I like the ones straight off the plane from China. Your milage may vary also all depends on you also. So I am mostly humble. Bow a little soft spoken. I hear too many loud Americans in these places. I have had some good service there. Just so busy lately I have a hard time getting to that side of town.

I definitely think that this is true. I've only been in the hobby for 7-8 years and intermittently at times, but I figure most guys all blend together for the ladies. It really shouldn't be too much to ask for the ladies to show up showered, clean and respectful. Doing so can set you apart from the rest of the guys. One thing that I like to do that works well for me is learning how to say a few words or a phrase in mandarin. Sometimes, I wait until the flip, other times, I'll say something as they are leading me back to the room. It always catches them off guard and they very surprised and smile and laugh. Learn the simple way to Thank You, mention it even when she brings you into a room. I have a couple still phrases that I spit out sometimes and while it means nothing in the scheme of things it always makes them laugh and it's like instant rapport. Many of them go from massaging me just as another guy for the day to almost like we've been friends for months. I don't know if any of these has effects on the rate for extras or not, be it certainly makes the time more fun and laid back. If she's laid back, she is likely to and probably will allow for things she wouldn't normally. Like a little more sensitive OTC touching. Maybe a hand in the bra instead of over.

I just started implementing the random Chinese phrase or words, even just saying thank you about 2 years ago and it seems to work very well for me and breaks the ice, along with making you a bit memorable and it's fun for the girls. Not sure if anyone else does this, but I think reminds them that some of us guys can and do try. A little goes a long way.

And for fucks sake, don't be the loud guy that throws open the door so that the bells practically break it, and then ask about something really loud. If you aren't whispering, then probably at least one other guy can hear you. Maybe some of the guys don't care, but I think it definitely goes back to the respect aspect. It's not too much to ask.

Red Star has a website showing a hot stone massage. I sent them a text asking if they offered a hot stone massage and a few other questions. They answered my other questions but did not reply about.

Hot stones. My guess would be they don't. On their website they have a coupon offering a 10% discount on room fee until mid June. I was considering visiting them but will hold off for now.

Should be a $10.00 discount not 10%.

Used to go to Enjoy off Evergreen in Hillsboro, it's a bit set back and hidden, but sign from the street, several years ago. It was a pretty decent handie-ending at the time, but when I got back into a relationship I stopped going for a bit and thought I read on here at some point that they started living on the reputation for awhile by overcharging and going back to a strict DIY. Has anyone been here lately and know if it's the case? I was early for an errand today and had about 15 min to spare so I stopped in to grab a card and scout it out. Ran into another guy as he was leaving and while we didn't speak, he seemed hard to read on whether it was a good time or not. Didn't seem overly happy or disappointed. As he left, I talked to a tall 40's asian, said her name was Jennifer. She really wanted me to get a massage, but I explained that I had somewhere to be and just wanted to grab a card and stop in. She said that it was her and about 3 other girls when I inquired and then she named off the typical. Coco, Lucy, blah blah blah. Told her I would be back in the near future and that I appreciated it, then headed out to my appointment. The place still looks the same as it did 3-4 years ago, but at least the one new face that I don't recall in Jennifer.

Anyone have any tips on this place? I hate it when the good shops get a good rep and then do the bare minimum hoping to still charge the decent rates. But times change and people change so I wanted to check in and see if anyone would recommend or stay away? It's too close to home for me to not want to head into again. If I don't hear any good feedback, I'll probably just have to TOFTT and bite the bullet.
