I believe in hope, Stosh. Otherwise, what's the point of even trying any more? Too many treat the tales of us old timers as the rantings of old men that don't mean anything and don't help anything. I prefer to think that things can be done better and once were done better. Otherwise, we might just as well all stay home, beat off to the latest internet cuties, and save the dough. I'm only speaking for myself, but I would like to do better than what is mostly seen on the streets without needing a bank loan to get a CBJ or QV.

Went out few days ago and really didn't run into much on 5th or Pulaski. I did run into someone I've dated for a few years and always gives the best gossip. So as I'm sure you guys have noticed the pimps on 5th are gone! Turns out the owner of the furniture warehouse's son and a couple of drivers confronted the pimps over the garbage and them taking over the corner. The mechanics from the shop next door joined in and the main pimp got his ass whooped so bad he ran away leaving his truck and his girls! The two main pimps have now set up shop on 47th and Cicero near the BP next to the Subway.

You would think the pimps getting chased away would be good but it's not! Now that no one is watching the ladies there are predators out there taking advantage. One in particular who she described as light skinned bodybuilder type punches women until they are out and has his way. Multiple ladies have tried to report it but LEO looks the other way and tells the WSW they don't belong in that area. Kaylani and Erin were seriously hurt, she said Kaylani's mouth is terrible, she needed stiches but decided not to go to the hospital.

Do NOT park any where near Kostner and Greenshaw, couple of guys robbing people at gunpoint there! We all know Brittany (Sapphire) she was with a date and got robbed, her date was shot in the head.

Lastly, Kaela is living out her Pretty Woman fantasy. She moved in with a regular who lives in Lombard. He takes care of her, takes her to the methadone clinic to get her meds and is helping to get her clean. I couldn't have someone I met on 5th on a SW track live with me, I'd be afraid to come home to an empty house one day.

Saw Amanda on Cicero 47th, but she was scooped up before I had a real chance to get her.

Anytime from when it's dark until it's morning, but I'd say that a safer bet would be between 10 PM and 5 AM.

Don't discount the value to younger readers. I'm not claiming that the good old days will ever come back. But better things are possible. The streets were not always full of junkies desperate for their next fix. We didn't always need to pay $100 for a CBJ for a decent undrugged girl. There were actually streetgirls that treated what they did as a regular business and both johns and girls profited. I'm not claiming it was idyllic for the girls. But it was better than it is now with whacked out addicts trying to make enough for a score and a spot to sleep on a pimps floor. I'm simply that better times are possible for all.

Took a stroll near the northside strip club pretty late. There were some nice ones out. Thicker brunette, WSW, refused to hop in and wanted to talk out the window. I could tell she was no LEO, so I engaged a little bit and seemed like a scammer. Saw a few cars pick her up and then drop her off not too long after. Might have been ripping guys off. A blonde in a pink tshirt, WSW, kept getting scooped. She looked good. And an older blonde, WSW, thin, eastern european looking. She was scooped quickly, the car that scooped was driving dangerously to pick her up. After, he proceeded to drive slowly until they stopped at Walgreens, where there was a LEO parked. They left quickly after realizing that and never saw them again. He must have drove her to a notel. I think its insane to drive around for that long with a hooker in your car but you do you. JB was out around Belmont. I'd have scooped her but she can be really annoying. The far northside seems completely dead. Other than that, not much doing on the northside. Mercedes toothy head must be a new thing. Every time I have seen her, she did it good and insisted on swallowing.

Those streets change as I spoke with one of the dudes that does security back there for a big trucking firm and he told me it gets crazy right around there late. So after the pork place closes right at 41st eventually they close 41st right there at ashland with a big a** gate and it says after hours and on weekends late one needs to come in further south. Reason being there's a lot of cubby holes back there and the dude told me it's gang banger city around there. So no not going to happen by going to her crib or even cruising ashland south of 47th. Went crunisning down Cicero in the usual areas and lots of girls working, none of them reasonably attractive. I am a picky bastard and I now It bites me in the buttocks sometimes, but my god I don't know who's picking up these girls.
