Only questioned one time on the amount, where the girl wanted more and said that was the old price. I said not for me, that's the price I pay, nothing more.

Both my positive experiences started similar, but with the older woman who is behind the desk. She is half decent looking and wears makeup. She starts by "assisting" but by the end I got her to finish the massage without my help.

My most recent visit. There was an old man several rooms down there who I could hear was being a little obnoxious and I'm sure didn't get get what he was looking for.

This seems to be a YMMV situation depending on who does the massage.

Located near 27th north and Kings Highway, MB Massage. 70 for the hour long massage, it was actually very good. Tried hard for the handshake, but no dice. Another older provider at this one and two very older ones hanging out up front. Where have all the hot young ones gone! LOL.

There are several points to consider and different reasons that may be good or not. Let me start off with the fact that I am not wealthy, in fact I am a working man. I enjoy a great massage and find them necessary for my well being.

I do not go out to a restaurant to eat unless I can tip reasonably. Do I tip for pis poor service? Yes, most of the time. People can have bad days, if you leave them nothing that confirms their bad day and attitude was appropriate in their eyes. I will often tip roughly 10% for piss poor service, it may help them to realize their poor service provided. Also being a local I don't want the rep of being a bad customer.

Now, back to the AMP's The ladies there often work for tips alone, the house usually gets the hourly rate for their expenses. The $20 dollars for mediocre service is reasonable IMO, plus you never know where some kindness will get you at an AMP. You have to get to know them to find out what may be available. I have on the rare occasion got up and left in the middle of a session that was WORTHLESS. One time in particular before the big bust I was in NMB at a place. I asked for 30 min they provided a FREE table shower before your massage. The TS was great and showed promise, but the massage room was shambles and the girl kept demanding from the start for 1 hour. She yelled back and forth to the house mother for a while, I got fed up and walked out. Boss said she would call police I said go ahead your sign says Free Table shower.

For an exceptional legit massage I have tipped 60, they appreciate it and try even harder the next time. Sometimes a couple $60 tip visits will eventually get you the secret handshake.

So for those looking only to get their rocks off, sorry I am contributing to the "problem" as you say. In the end it's all about me!

That's exactly what's wrong with this business and these girls! They've been conditioned, for lack of a better word, that they can get away with sub-par service and still get paid for it. If not paid EXTRA for it. For God's sake, will you guys stop rewarding bad behavior? It's WAY past time that these gals to learn the economics of this business. You perform exceptionally, you get paid exceptionally. You don't. You don't. Period.

I'll bet my next paycheck the level of service would rise if half of you would stop "settling".

Not that I doubt you at all and have never been to that place, but my standard for the legit has always been $20 and nobody ever complained to me and unfortunately, legit has been the only option.

Let's say hypothetically that extras were available around here. What are appropriate tips for services? In charlotte we had an issue where so many guys over-tipped it drove up prices. In the slim chance I find a place around here with extras, what should I be tipping.

It's across the street from the Myrtle Beach Post office, just a tad south in the strip mall that has a laundromat . Nicely done on the inside and strictly legit. Massage was mediocre at best, spent way too much time on the upper back and less than 10 min on the front. Was wondering if any seniors can point me in the right direction of a decent MP.

I'm a senior member but I haven't posted in a while, just moved down here I had my regulars before I moved but it's too far of a drive now. I'm willing to put in the work needed to get results, just looking to be pointed in the right direction. I can't really put in the time at every spa around.

FYI, no success from me here. I've tried basically every MP on the north end a few times. They all know what the deal used to be so they aren't shocked when I ask but all mention the crackdown and say there are no extras anymore, so far repeat visits haven't changed the results.
